可控硅是硅可控整流元件的简称,亦称为晶闸管。具有体积小、结构相对简单、功能强等特点,是比较常用的半导体器件之一。该器件被广泛应用于各种电子设备和电子产品中,多用来作可控整流、逆变、变频、调压、无触点开关等。家用电器中的调光灯、调速风扇、空调机、电视机、电冰箱、洗衣机、照相机、组合音响、声光电路、定时控制器、玩具装置、无线电遥控、摄像机及工业控制等都大量使用了可控硅器件。
可控硅的分类:
按其工作特性,可控硅(THYRISTOR)可分为普通可控硅(SCR)即单向可控硅、双向可控硅(TRIAC)和其它特殊可控硅。
可控硅的主要参数:
1,额定通态电流(IT)即大稳定工作电流,俗称电流。常用可控硅的IT一般为一安到几十安。
2,反向重复峰值电压(VRRM)或断态重复峰值电压(VDRM),俗称耐压。常用可控硅的VRRM/VDRM一般为几百伏到一千伏。
3,控制极触发电流(IGT),俗称触发电流。常用可控硅的IGT一般为几微安到几十毫安。
作用盘点:
1.普通晶闸管基本的用途就是可控整流。
大家熟悉的二极管整流电路属于不可控整流电路。如果把二极管换成晶闸管,就可以构成可控整流电路。以简单的单相半波可控整流电路为例,在正弦交流电压U2的正半周期间,如果VS的控制极没有输入触发脉冲Ug,VS仍然不能导通,只有在U2处于正半周,在控制极外加触发脉冲Ug时,晶闸管被触发导通。
2.可控硅主要的作用之一就是稳压稳流。
可控硅在自动控制控制,机电领域,工业电气及家电等方面都有广泛的应用。可控硅是一种有源开关元件,平时它保持在非道通状态,直到由一个较少的控制信号对其触发或称“点火”使其道通,一旦被点火就算撤离触发信号它也保持道通状态,要使其截止可在其阳极与阴极间加上反向电压或将流过可控硅二极管的电流减少到某一个值以下。
3.可控硅是一种可控的大功率半导体器件。主要用于可控整流、变频、交流调压、逆变和无触头开关。

Classification of silicon controlled rectifier:
According to its operating characteristics,silicon controlled rectifier(THYRISTOR)can be divided into ordinary silicon controlled rectifier(SCR),namely,unidirectional silicon controlled rectifier,bidirectional silicon controlled rectifier(TRIAC),and other special silicon controlled rectifier.
Main parameters of thyristor:
Rated on state current(IT)refers to the maximum stable working current,commonly known as current.The IT of commonly used silicon controlled rectifier is generally from one ampere to tens of amperes.
Reverse repetitive peak voltage(VRRM)or off state repetitive peak voltage(VDRM),commonly known as withstand voltage.The VRRM/VDRM of commonly used silicon controlled rectifier is typically from several hundred volts to one thousand volts.
3.Control electrode trigger current(IGT),commonly known as trigger current.The IGT of commonly used silicon controlled rectifier is generally from a few microamps to tens of milliamps.

The most basic use of ordinary thyristor is controllable rectification.
The familiar diode rectifier circuit belongs to an uncontrollable rectifier circuit.If the diode is replaced by a thyristor,a controllable rectifier circuit can be formed.Taking the simplest single-phase half wave controllable rectifier circuit as an example,during the positive half cycle of the sinusoidal AC voltage U2,if the control electrode of VS does not input the trigger pulse Ug,VS still cannot conduct.Only when U2 is in the positive half cycle and the trigger pulse Ug is applied to the control electrode,the thyristor is triggered to conduct.

Silicon controlled rectifier(SCR)is widely used in automatic control,electromechanical fields,industrial electrical and household appliances.Silicon controlled rectifier(SCR)is an active switching element that remains in a non channel state until triggered or"ignited"by a smaller control signal.Once ignited,it remains in a channel state even if the trigger signal is withdrawn.To turn it off,a reverse voltage can be applied between its anode and cathode or the current flowing through the SCR diode can be reduced to a certain value below.
